The Justin Cosby Scholarship is an annual Bachelor of Music Business scholarship honouring Justin’s legacy.
The scholarship, in partnership with AIM (Australian Institute of Music), offering students an educational grounding in arts & entertainment management and a genuine springboard into the industry Justin loved.".
Justin Cosby was the A&R Director of Inertia Music, one of Australia’s leading independent music companies, when he passed away on 25th June 2021 at the age of 50.
Justin was a unique force in a competitive industry who lived and breathed music. A generous mentor, giving as much of his time to those starting out as to the internationally recognised artists he signed at Inertia.
His legacy is the company and culture he built at Inertia and the music that he helped bring into the world for us all to enjoy. Now, with the support of Justin’s family, friends and colleagues, an esteemed music scholarship has been established in his name.

The Justin Cosby Scholarship offers applicants the chance to undertake one of two exceptional 3-year full time, immersive degrees.
